Fresh ink tattoo salve
Being a heavily tattooed person I have to leave a comment about your product. The peppermint in your product is good for healing, but your product has a bit too much of it in it. Peppermint on a fresh tattoo, stings and burns A LOT! If you have been tattooed you know that something with not so much fragrance is MUCH better for a tattoo. Preferably something with NO scent, like whipped mineral oil, is better for fresh tattoos. No BURN, no STING!
Your product does indeed smell "nice" but I wouldn't recommend it for a fresh tattoo. Sorry!

You're the first to mention it stinging (and...well.....a LOT of folks have used it.)
Peppermint --a small amount--is good for cooling, not burning. But it may be that your skin is simply more sensitive than most.
I will BEG you however, to avoid using anything like mineral oil or any other petroleum based product on a tattoo. Petroleum does NOT breathe and does NOT aid in healing.

... edited to add--I HAVE been tattooed, and used my own goo to heal it...and didn't notice any burning whatsoever. Huh.
