White Rose Patch
These are my cotton canvas patches. If you've talked to me for 47 seconds, you know where I stand on these things....
The White Rose (German: die Weiße Rose) was a non-violent, intellectual resistance group in Nazi Germany led by a group of students and a professor at the University of Munich. The group conducted an anonymous leaflet and graffiti campaign which called for active opposition against the Nazi regime.
I am doing two styles of patch-- with the word RESIST and without. These are listed under the COLOR option because of some weird backend programming stuff...but all of the patches are black and white with a white border.
And two sizes-- large is roughly 8" x 10", the other about 4"x5".
I plan on keeping about 20% per patch towards more materials--the rest will be donated to the American Civil Liberties Union.
