Rich shea-butter base solid lotion; this formulation is intended for the relief of nerve and muscle pain, primarily nerve pain related to conditions like fibromyalgia, neuropathy, and MS. Like all the goos, a little goes a long way--a 2 oz. jar should coat an adult head to toe for about 2 months. It's organic, it's relatively soft; in hot weather it will melt and go liquid. Just stick it in the fridge.
Every Goo Has A Story: I have been interested for a while in the relief of nerve pain, because so many of my friends (and I) have had issues. Nerve pain is notoriously hard to treat--almost nothing touches the nervous system when it misfires. With a lot of research, and two VERY patient guinea pigs (waves at Lisa and Kyth).... I came up with this formulation, which can at least dial down nerve pain to a more tolerable level.
This is something of a multi-threat formula--it has White Willow Bark (natural aspirin) and also Arnica, for the relief of swelling. The key, though is the capsaicin oil--infused for a minimum of a month in my kitchen-- because capsaicin actually disrupts nerve pain messages. It also has the ability to inflict chemical burns, so developing this and adjusting ratios was a long, slow process.
My clients have reported relief from this, all the way from truly remarkable to "dials it down so I can stand it". This is not a cure, this is not a heal-all, but chances are, it will help.
USES:
Apply to the hurty area. Discontinue use if there is skin discomfort.
Contents: Raw Shea Butter, Soy Oil, Beeswax, Infused White Willow Bark, Capsacin, Arnica, Lemon, and Lavendar
